Sometimes, you just need to get away from your everyday life and experience something new. It’s even better when you do it with your girls.
I got a chance to link up with some of my California friends in the Empire State. We spent time wandering through Brooklyn, Harlem, and Mid-Town Manhattan over the course of our 5 day trip, and we only did what we wanted to do. In our case, that meant a party on the pier, about 4 museums, and two day parties on a Sunday.
The best thing about the trip was getting the opportunity to reconnect, refresh, and build with friends in a new surrounding. There’s nothing better than sharing good laughs over great food and drinks, in a place that brings inspiration each and every time I visit. Check out some trip details below:
- We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Downtown Brooklyn. The hotel staff was great, and the coolest part about this spot is the community rooftop deck. It overlooks the entire city and was a dope spot to host a little kickback. Check them out here.
- Favorite Attraction: The Brooklyn Museum. While we were there we got to check out the Sneaker Culture Exhibit, which featured a look at the rise of sneaker culture.
